George Yerolimpos is a Greek Economist. He combined his passion for finance and sport and became the Executive Director of the International Committee of Mediterranean Games, an Executive Director at SportAccord, Secretary General and Chief Executive Officer of the International Boxing Association (IBA) and Secretary General of the Fédération Internationale de Teqball (FITEQ). Moreover, George was also a member of the Board of Directors for the Hellenic Olympic Committee (HOC) for more than 20 years and has been President of the Hellenic Triathlon Federation.

Pablo Reyes

Pablo Reyes stands as an eminent figure in the world of sports, boasting over a decade of invaluable experience collaborating with Olympic Committees and International Federations. He has worked extensively with globally renowned federations including FIFA, FIBA, World Rugby and IWF, among others. Pablo’s tenure and close collaboration with prestigious Olympic committees highlight his unwavering commitment to upholding the principles and ideals integral to the Olympic movement.

Víctor García

SPORTSIN EDITORIAL CHIEF

Graduated in Journalism from Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 2006, he began his journalism career that same year in the Sports section of El Día de Ciudad Real, working there until 2007. He then joined El Confidencial, one of the five most important newspapers in Spain today, to establish its Sports section. He coordinated and directed this section until 2020. Following this period, in 2021, he ventured into the field of Communication, where he has been employed ever since. During this time, he has gained insights into the other side of journalism, serving as a communication advisor for organizations such as the Royal Spanish Rugby Federation or NFL Spain, in addition to undertaking roles related to the Royal Spanish Football Federation.

Sofia boasts a distinguished academic background in journalism and audiovisual journalism. With over three years of dedicated experience in sports journalism, she has worked in Agencia EFE, Quality Media, and various international television channels. Her career highlights include reporting live during the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games for Spanish and American media. For three years, Sofia led international communications at the International Weightlifting Federation. She has also covered many sporting events. In addition to her journalistic prowess, Sofia excels as a scriptwriter and interviewer for documentaries commissioned by sports federations. Her compelling storytelling and incisive interviews enrich the sports narrative

Loreto Corbalán

JOURNALIST AND COMMUNITY MANAGER

Loreto is nearing the completion of her sports journalism degree at Francisco de Vitoria University in Madrid. With a two-year tenure at Mirada 21, the UFV’s communication media, she has developed a keen expertise in news writing for television and reporting. Loreto is passionately involved in social media and sports, adept at creating engaging and valuable content for Instagram and TikTok, the leading platforms of today, and with high engagement and communication skills on social media. A lifelong tennis enthusiast and former professional tennis player, she aims to combine her communication skills and sports passion and experience into her career. Her background makes her an excellent journalist for sportsin, where she can leverage her unique blend of social media savvy and sports knowledge.

Juan Antonio Belmar

JOURNALIST SPECIALIZED IN LATAM

He is a renowned Chilean journalist identified with all sports on radio and television. Among his many professional tasks, he is the director and creator of the prestigious programme Hola Deportes, which is about to celebrate 29 years of uninterrupted broadcasting this year 2024. In this long journalistic career, he has covered 7 Olympic Games from Atlanta 1996 to Tokyo 2020+1, as well as the Pan American Games from Mar del Plata 1995 to Santiago 2023. He was one of the founders in 2011 of the first Olympic television channel in the world, setting Chile as an example in innovation to broadcast its own sports. He is currently manager of development and competitions at CDO, the Chilean Olympic Committee’s channel, and is actively involved in the dissemination and promotion of Olympic sports within the continent. His vocation, commitment and passion are his main attributes, being valued by the public who follow him daily in his different press, radio and TV spaces.

José M. Gonzalez Trujillo

JOURNALIST SPECIALIZED IN OLYMPIC SPORTS

José Miguel González Trujillo is a Chilean sports journalist, editor and community manager. He began his career in the sports section of Chile’s La Tercera newspaper, one of the most traditional and widely read newspapers in the country, covering major national and international sporting events, with interviews and field reporting. He then worked as head of press and social media for the Chilean National Basketball League (LNB Chile). Since 2022 he has been working for Canal CDO (Canal del Deporte Olímpico) as a journalist and community manager, from where he has been able to cover different events and especially the Pan American and Parapan American Games Santiago 2023, a historic milestone for sport in Chile. He is also an editor for the website Sportsin, with an interest in multisport and basketball after several years covering the Chilean national team and local competition.
