The digital transformation experienced at the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh marked a turning point in how multisport events can connect with athletes, communities, and global audiences. A shared vision driving change. The collaboration between ANOC and AISS not only responded to a technological need but emerged from the intention to create a digital environment that celebrated the human stories behind athletic performance, building an ecosystem that supported athletes, NOCs, and organizations with spaces for visibility, identity, and community.

As we look deeper into the work carried out, the commitment of both institutions to develop digital tools that act as bridges between those living the Games from within and those following from around the world becomes clear. A digital ecosystem at the service of people. From audiovisual studios installed in the athletes’ village to a centralized platform that integrated content for all partners, ANOC and AISS laid the foundations of a transformative project that redefines how information is shared, distributed, and experienced in real time.

Stories taking the spotlight: the ANOC.tv studio and the athletes’ experience

One of the most significant initiatives was the creation of the ANOC.tv studio inside the athletes’ village, a space that captured competitions, voices, and personal stories. The value of human stories. With the participation of 650 athletes from 57 NOCs, the production reached 1,150 videos in four languages and more than 2,800 portraits, along with daily live broadcasts featuring 71 guests from 28 NOCs, creating an unprecedented archive for this type of event.

This human-centered approach strengthened the connection between athletes and the audience, setting a precedent for integrating digital experiences into the heart of the event. A new way to support athletes. By bringing cameras and microphones into athletes’ daily spaces, ANOC ensured every story found its place, turning the studio into an essential component of the Games experience and one of the pillars of the Digital Content Hub.

An integrated digital ecosystem: centralized content and unprecedented global reach

The ANOC Digital Content Hub played a decisive role in ensuring all generated material could be efficiently used by NOCs, media, and institutional partners. Accessible content to amplify identities. With 89,000 available assets—ranging from photos and videos to AI-generated highlights—each NOC received personalized content about its athletes, consolidating a modern and collaborative communication strategy.

The ANOC.tv broadcast extended this experience to an international audience, with more than 800 hours of live coverage distributed across 162 countries and reaching 2.7 million views. A global impact without precedent. This reach demonstrated how an accessible platform can give equitable visibility to all athletes, regardless of their discipline or country.

A legacy accessible to all NOCs and a new benchmark for multisport events

That legacy lives on today through ANOC.tv, where each NOC has a dedicated page gathering interviews, portraits, highlights, and exclusive material. An archive preserving the emotional memory of sport. This space allows fans, families, and communities to relive key moments while strengthening each delegation’s international identity.

The collaboration between ANOC and AISS thus became a reference point for how to integrate technology, creativity, and strategic vision in service of athletes and organizations. Innovation built through collaboration. The combination of live studios, AI-driven content distribution, and global broadcasting set a renewed standard for the digital ecosystem of multisport events.
