The Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) and AquaBloom International Sports Technology Group (ABSG) have sealed a strategic alliance that promises to transform the way the National Olympic Committees (NOCs) connect with the digital world. In a sports environment increasingly driven by innovation, this agreement stands as an opportunity for ANOC’s 206 member organizations to strengthen their presence, expand technological resources, and build stronger ties with fans who follow the Olympic Movement worldwide.

The commitment goes beyond a formal agreement, aiming to generate real and sustainable change. Through this partnership, various projects will be developed, ranging from the creation of a Digital Content Hub to technological acceleration programs, as well as new initiatives at major ANOC events. With this, the organization reaffirms that digitalization is not an end in itself, but rather a tool to empower athletes, inspire fans, and open new opportunities in the global sports landscape.

A shared vision for the digital future

The agreement involves joint work between ANOC and AquaBloom on projects that will mark a turning point in the way sport is lived and shared. Among them are the activation of the ANOC.TV studio at international events, the creation of digital training programs, and the incorporation of innovations into initiatives such as the ANOC Awards and General Assemblies. These actions not only aim to modernize communication channels but also to ensure that NOCs have access to cutting-edge tools to connect with their communities.

Behind this vision lies a clear bet on the power of technology. AquaBloom will contribute seven areas of innovation —from artificial intelligence and robotics to Web3 and biotechnology— with the goal of providing tangible benefits to athletes, sports associations, and fans worldwide. In the words of Robin Mitchell, ANOC President, it is about offering NOCs “the best possible tools to succeed in a constantly evolving digital landscape.”

Technology with a human purpose

Beyond technological infrastructure, the collaboration reflects a profound conviction: sport needs to evolve to continue inspiring new generations. Mike Yang, founder and CEO of ABSG, emphasizes that his organization’s mission is to empower NOCs and athletes with scalable and sustainable digital platforms. This vision aligns with the values of the Olympic Movement, where innovation is not seen merely as technical progress but as a means to strengthen the human connection that sport creates.

The global reach of this alliance also highlights ANOC’s ability to adapt to the times. Since its foundation in 1979, the organization has defended the collective interests of NOCs, and now, with the support of AquaBloom, it takes a decisive step toward the digital future. The message is clear: technological transformation is essential, but it must always serve athletes, their communities, and the Olympic spirit that unites millions of people worldwide.
