Doha recently hosted the launch of the new ANOC.tv application for iOS and Android, developed by the Association of National Olympic Committees -ANOC- with the aim of bringing multi-sport competitions closer to fans around the world. The platform offers live broadcasts, on-demand content, and exclusive pieces produced by ANOC.tv Studios during major international events.

The decision to develop the application followed an analysis of audience consumption habits, which revealed a clear preference for accessing sports content via mobile devices. ANOC’s goal is to provide an accessible, stable and global experience, strengthening the connection between athletes, National Olympic Committees -NOCs- and fans.

Events and federations already joining ANOC.tv

The first major event to be broadcast in full on the new platform will be the Islamic Solidarity Games, scheduled from 4 to 21 November 2025. More than 700 hours of live coverage will be available, including opening and closing ceremonies, all competition sessions across the various sports, and a daily live show from the athletes’ village. Viewers will also be able to interact through the internal chat, allowing athletes and delegations to respond in real time.

In addition to this launch, ANOC.tv has confirmed coverage of other international multi-sport events, such as the Games of the Small States of Europe (GSSE) Andorra, the Pacific Mini Games Palau, the Junior Pan American Games Asunción, and The World Games Chengdu 2025, consolidating its role as an institutional platform for promoting multi-sport competition and supporting athlete visibility across NOCs.

A growing ecosystem for NOCs and emerging sports

In recent months, ANOC.tv has strengthened its position as a reference platform through comprehensive event coverage. In August, it broadcast the entire Junior Pan American Games held in Asunción, delivering more than 700 hours of live content over 14 days and contributing to a 10% increase in registered users. At the same time, 31 OTT platforms distributed the event across the region, increasing global visibility for the participating National Olympic Committees and their athletes. Similarly, The World Games Chengdu 2025 saw ANOC.tv operate up to six simultaneous live channels, delivering a total of 280 hours of competition coverage.

These broadcasts build on previous work during the GSSE Andorra and the Pacific Mini Games Palau, where ANOC.tv reached a total of 124,000 views for the year, including a peak of 40,000 during the GSSE. The platform’s impact was further strengthened by an active digital media strategy, generating more than 2.8 million views on Instagram and 666 pieces of collaborative content with NOCs, national federations, international federations and athletes. In this context, organizations such as World Squash have begun establishing collaboration agreements with ANOC to support digital distribution and expand the international presence of their disciplines.

The ANOC.tv application is now available for download on the App Store and Google Play, providing free access to live programming and on-demand content. The platform will continue to expand its event calendar and develop new interactive features that encourage active participation from sporting and educational communities linked to the Olympic Movement.
