The first workshop of the new series on artificial intelligence, AI, organized by the Association of National Olympic Committees, ANOC, has gathered this Tuesday more than 180 participants from 70 National Olympic Committees from five continents, in addition to the participation of representatives of continental associations and athletes’ commissions. An unprecedented success that shows the great interest in AI that exists in our society and in the Olympic family in particular.
Entitled “An introduction to AI and its tools”, the workshop provided an enlightening perspective on the opportunities that AI offers to NOCs. Participants explored key AI concepts and tools aimed at improving their day-to-day operations, reflecting the growing interest in these technologies within the Olympic family.
AI WORKSHOPS
This initial workshop marks the beginning of a larger series that includes four additional sessions scheduled every two weeks. Each will address practical applications of AI:
- Simplifying Communications with ChatGPT (February 4, 2025).
- Marketing strategies with ChatGPT (February 18, 2025).
- Content creation with ChatGPT (March 4, 2025).
- Advanced Uses of ChatGPT (March 18, 2025).
The high participation in this first workshop underscores the growing importance of AI in supporting NOCs’ activities. These sessions are designed to equip participants with tools to boost efficiency, stimulate creativity and amplify their digital impact.
IN LINE WITH THE IA’S OLYMPIC AGENDA
This series of workshops is part of ANOC’s Digital Accelerator Program, demonstrating its commitment to the digital transformation of NOCs. In addition, the initiative is aligned with the AI Olympic Agenda announced by the IOC in April 2024, which seeks to foster innovation and efficiency across the Olympic ecosystem.
