ASU2025 ambassadors for the Junior Pan American Games in Asunción

Panam Sports has introduced the seven ambassadors who will be part of the Team Panam Sports campaign for the ASU2025 Junior Pan American Games, which will be held this August in Asunción, Paraguay. This select group is made up of world, Pan American, and South American champions who excel both inside and outside of competition.

With just 45 days to go before the start of the largest continental multi-sport festival for young people, the ASU2025 Junior Pan American Games, the team that will represent Olympic values and promote the event throughout the region has been officially announced.

Outstanding athletes from across the continent

The selected ambassadors come from Brazil, Jamaica, the British Virgin Islands, the United States, Chile, Colombia, and Paraguay. Among the most prominent names are Brazilian swimmer Guilherme Caribe, currently ranked second in the world in the 100-meter freestyle and three-time Pan American champion in Santiago 2023; sprinters Alana Reid of Jamaica and Adaejah Hodge of the British Virgin Islands, considered the fastest women in the world in the under-20 category; Stefany Cuadrado of from Colombia, current holder of the junior world record in track cycling; Matías González from Chile, two-time world water skiing champion; Nicole Martínez from Paraguay, bronze medalist in rowing in Santiago 2023; and Lazer Crawford from the United States, one of the most promising figures in skateboarding.

“The power of the new generation”

Under the slogan “The Power of the New Generation,” a communication and marketing campaign will be launched to highlight the importance of the ASU2025 Games in the region. This initiative aims to inspire new generations and promote the values of Olympic sport.
