The best team on the continent will be defined on South American soil. The board of directors of the Basketball Champions League Americas (BCL Americas) announced its decision on which will be the venue for the Final Four of the tournament, an event that will take place on April 13 and 14.
The host will be the Quimsa club from Argentina, at the Ciudad de Santiago del Estero Stadium. Cradle of great Argentine basketball players, the venue was chosen over the other teams that will compete in the Final Four: Flamengo from Brazil, Halcones de Xalapa from Mexico and Hebraica Macabi from Uruguay.
At the event the new champion of America will be known, in a format that includes a direct elimination semi-final and then the definition for the crown. The duels will be Halcones de Xalapa against Flamengo and Hebraica Macabi against Quimsa. The champion will qualify for the FIBA Intercontinental Cup to be held in Singapore.
