The Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA) and the International Sports Convention in Africa (ICSA) have renewed their partnership for the 11th edition of this prestigious event, which will be held in Dakar from February 19 to 21, 2025. This partnership, in place since the first edition in 2007, reinforces the mutual commitment to the development of sport on the continent.

Thanks to the leadership of JAPPO Sports & Entertainment, under the direction of Diamil Faye, CISA has established itself as a key venue for bringing together leaders, decision-makers and experts from Africa and around the world. This event fosters the dialogue and synergies necessary for the growth of sport in the region.

CISA: A PILLAR FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF SPORT IN AFRICA

The Honorable Mustapha Berraf, President of ANOCA and member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), stressed the importance of this partnership: “The renewal of this partnership confirms our commitment to sports development in Africa. CISA has become an unmissable event to reflect on the challenges we face and to propose innovative solutions for the future of sport on the continent”.

Berraf also stressed that the 2025 edition will include a special focus on artificial intelligence and its impact on sport, marking a step towards modernization and adaptation to global trends.

JAPPO’S ROLE AND COMMITMENT TO CISA

Diamil Faye, chairman of JAPPO Sports & Entertainment and driving force behind CISA, reaffirmed his commitment to the vision of the event: “We have a collective responsibility to build a bright future for African sport.
