The European University Sports Association (EUSA) has reached a significant milestone by welcoming its 100th Associate Member, the University of Lisbon. This achievement was announced during the EUSA Executive Committee meeting in Aveiro, Portugal, where the latest Associate Member applications and revisions were presented and approved.
EUSA’s Associate Member initiative, launched just one year ago, has resulted in a total of 102 universities from 20 countries now enjoying the benefits of EUSA Associate Membership. The opportunity for universities to become Associate Members of EUSA remains open, with no fees to join, but numerous benefits and advantages for those who do. These benefits include participation in EUSA events at a reduced entry fee, priority in the selection of organizers for EUSA sports and educational events, and the use of the EUSA Associate Member logo for internal promotional purposes.
The University of Lisbon is the 100th Associate Member to join EUSA, marking a significant milestone in the organization’s history. The University of Camerino, the University of Prishtina, and the Józef Piłsudski University of Physical Education were also admitted during the meeting. EUSA’s Associate Membership program is an excellent opportunity for universities to become part of the European University Sports Association family and enjoy the numerous benefits that come with it.
