The Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) has announced the launch of the ANOC Digital Content HUB, an innovative platform designed to connect National Olympic Committees (NOCs) and International Federations in a unified digital ecosystem. This project seeks to improve communication and collaboration in the Olympic arena.

The HUB, developed in partnership with Socialie, part of PhotoShelter Group, a leader in digital content management and social media, will enable NOCs to keep fans engaged between the Summer and Winter Olympic Games and throughout the year.

Enriching NOCs’ digital presence

The ANOC Digital Content HUB will collect news, photos and videos from International Federations and multi-sport events, redistributing them to NOCs. This will allow National Olympic Committees to enrich their social media presence with relevant and high quality content, promoting Olympic athletes and future Olympians, increasing the visibility of their disciplines and attracting attention to events in the Olympic world.

In addition, International Federations will have the opportunity to expand the reach of their content through the NOCs’ networks, potentially connecting with a combined audience of nearly 60 million followers.

Benefits for the Olympic Movement

This initiative benefits all stakeholders in the Olympic Movement, strengthening collaboration, increasing visibility and keeping the Olympic spirit alive throughout the year. The HUB also includes ANOC.tv, a platform that offers added value by broadcasting events not covered by major television networks, providing exclusive content to NOCs.

The launch of the ANOC Digital Content HUB represents a significant step forward in the development of ANOC’s Digital Accelerator Program, launched in 2021. This HUB complements the program’s mission by providing concrete tools and support for NOCs to strengthen their digital capabilities and amplify their communications efforts.

ANOC Secretary General Gunilla Lindberg noted that they are “delighted to launch the ANOC Digital Content HUB to help NOCs keep their fans engaged throughout the year. Through the HUB, NOCs will have free access to more digital content than ever before, giving them new opportunities to showcase their athletes and build their audiences. By connecting NOCs and International Federations, the HUB will also help strengthen collaboration for the benefit of the Olympic Movement.”
