The Association of National Olympic Committees -ANOC- strengthened the digital presence of the National Olympic Committees -NOCs- during the Pacific Mini Games Palau 2025, consolidating the role of multisport events as catalysts for visibility and digital engagement. The results were reflected in the NOC Social Media Dashboard for July, with Oceania taking a prominent place on the global stage.
Through the installation of the ANOC.tv studio in Palau, tailored audiovisual content was produced for distribution across NOC platforms. At the same time, the ANOC Digital Content HUB provided personalized materials, tools and templates to support more consistent digital strategies.
The impact was visible between June 29 and July 12 and extended through the end of the month. Seven Pacific NOCs ranked in the global top 10 for follower growth, highlighting how the combination of multisport coverage and coordinated digital support can amplify the relevance of committees with traditionally limited audiences.
Oceania leads global growth indicators
Nauru recorded a 50.37% increase in its digital community, followed by Vanuatu with 34.8% and Tuvalu with 25.09%. Tonga (9.62%), Kiribati (8.08%), Palau (4.43%) and American Samoa (3.83%) also consolidated significant gains in reach.
According to the Social Media Dashboard, this performance was directly linked to the coverage of the Pacific Mini Games, where ANOC played a decisive role in amplifying the media impact of Oceania’s delegations.
Beyond follower growth, Nauru stood out with an engagement rate of 563.7%, a figure that underlines the effectiveness of ANOC.tv’s storytelling approach in generating stronger connections with audiences.
Collectively, Oceania’s NOCs reached 428,641 interactions in July—nearly 2.5 times higher than the 172,671 recorded in June. Content production also intensified, with total posts increasing from 540 in June to 924 in July, confirming the consolidation of a more active digital ecosystem.
A trend extending to Europe and the Americas
The momentum observed in Oceania mirrors the Games of the Small States of Europe, held in Andorra in May. On that occasion, the Andorran NOC led with a 9.53% growth rate, followed by San Marino (5.32%) and Luxembourg (4.92%). These results reinforce the idea that multisport events serve as digital accelerators across different geographic contexts.
In parallel, ANOC.tv also covered the 2nd Junior Pan American Games, held in Paraguay from August 9 to 23, with the next update of the Social Media Dashboard scheduled for September 12.
