Japan gears up for the 2025 Volleyball Nations League

In preparation for the highly anticipated 2025 Volleyball Nations League (VNL) in Chiba, Japan, Volleyball World has announced the list of sponsors and the ticket sales start date. For the first time, international fans will be able to purchase their tickets, expanding the opportunity to enjoy the world’s most prestigious elite tournament. The competition, set to take place over eight weeks, will feature 36 teams competing in 17 venues across 11 countries. Chiba will play a key role, hosting two groups with powerhouse teams such as Brazil, Argentina, Poland, and the United States.

The matches in Chiba will be divided into two groups: the Women’s Group 9, taking place from July 9 to 13, featuring Brazil, Bulgaria, France, Korea, Poland, and Japan; and the Men’s Group 9, scheduled from July 16 to 20, with Argentina, Brazil, Germany, Turkey, the United States, and the host nation. Ticket sales will begin on April 5, giving fans the chance to secure their spots at an event that promises world-class volleyball. Excitement is even higher following the success of the 2024 edition, which saw a 13% increase in attendance, with Japan leading the growth at 27% and selling out all its venues.

The event is organized by Volleyball World and the VNL 2025 Chiba Organizing Committee, with support from the Japan Volleyball Association and local entities.
