Nike and the National Football League (NFL) have announced the extension of their partnership for another 10 years, through 2038. This is an agreement that – beyond an injection of capital – aims to drive the growth, innovation, safety and expansion of American football worldwide. This new chapter cements Nike as the exclusive supplier of uniforms, training apparel and equipment for all 32 NFL teams, a role it has successfully played since 2012.

NFL INNOVATION AND SECURITY

Nike will leverage its sports research lab to develop equipment that reduces lower extremity injuries and improves footwear safety. In addition, both entities will work to ensure a more inclusive and safer environment at all levels of sport, from youth to professional leagues.
Another highlight is the investment in football development programs in schools, colleges and grassroots leagues. Nike and the NFL are committed to nurturing young talent and increasing participation in both flag and contact football, ensuring a generational shift in the sport.
