According to what was published by the ITF itself on its official website, this is an investment that increases by 20% what was invested in 2024. There will be a total of 35.3 million dollars to invest in the 1,100 professional tournaments that will be held next year around the world.
“Against a global backdrop of price increases, the increases are designed to help alleviate the difficult financial conditions experienced by many players, increasing their earning capacity and, for women, reducing hotel costs, a key part of the game budget. a player,” the ITF published.
Regarding the women’s circuit, in 2025 there will be 20.7 million dollars to be distributed in prizes within the five tournament levels that the ITF has (W15, W35, W50, W75 and W100). On the men’s side, there will be a total of $14.6 million in prize money between the M15 and M25 tournaments of the tour.
