The ISSF Academy has appointed Finnish athlete Henna Viljanen as its new coordinator to support coaching course activities. Viljanen, an experienced rifle shooter with eight years of experience in the sports and fitness industry, will be responsible for ensuring the proper execution of courses, assisting in certificate preparation, and managing administrative tasks related to training programs.
In addition to her administrative responsibilities, Viljanen will also be in charge of preparing training materials to ensure that participants have access to high-quality learning resources. She will oversee practical arrangements between participants and coaches to optimize training sessions and enhance the overall functioning of the ISSF Academy. Currently preparing for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games, Viljanen has been competing on the ISSF World Cup circuit since 2018.
