The tournament will not only bring together the best handball players from around the world but also passionate individuals eager to contribute to a world-class event. From customer service to logistics coordination, volunteers will play a vital role in this unique experience. Germany has already launched its volunteer program under the slogan “Hands up for More,” while the Netherlands will officially open its call for applications at the end of this month.

Volunteering in Germany and the Netherlands

In Germany, the cities of Trier, Dortmund, and Stuttgart are preparing to welcome thousands of spectators and will need between 150 and 200 volunteers per venue. Roles include accreditation, transportation, and assisting in media coverage. Volunteers will also receive training, uniforms, meals, and the chance to watch the live matches. Applicants must be over 18 years old by November 23, 2025, to apply.

Meanwhile, the Netherlands venues, Maaspoort in ‘s-Hertogenbosch and Rotterdam Ahoy in Rotterdam, are also seeking enthusiastic individuals to join their teams. Through the ‘EventMakers’ platform, selected volunteers will receive an exclusive clothing package, meals, and beverages, and must be available for at least four days between November 27 and December 14, 2025.
