In a move that marks a turning point in its history, the International Skating Union (ISU) has unveiled a new visual identity as part of its ambitious strategic program Vision 2030. This transformation is accompanied by the official inauguration of its new headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland, and aims to consolidate the ISU‘s role as a global leader in figure skating, speed skating, and short track.
The brand redesign features a stylized logo that integrates the letters “ISU” joined by a dynamic stroke called “Edge,” symbolizing the energy of ice skating. This is complemented by a modern palette of blue tones, a renewed slogan — “Let’s Skate Together” — and new Vision, Mission, and Values statements that aim to strengthen the bond with skaters, fans, and international partners. The organization emphasizes that this update is not merely aesthetic, but a clear sign of its internal evolution.

A new era for world skating

The brand renewal comes with the opening of the “House of Skating”, a modern workspace in the heart of Lausanne that reflects the collaborative spirit and innovation promoted by Vision 2030. The headquarters features open areas, shared workspaces, and a Hall of Fame that honors the sport’s legends. Every architectural detail reinforces the values of the new ISU: authentic leadership, proactive responsibility, and purposeful innovation.
In addition, the organization will mark this milestone by holding its first Extraordinary Congress, where delegates will vote on a constitutional reform unprecedented since 1892. This initiative seeks to modernize its governance structure and adapt it to the current demands of international sport. Under the leadership of President Jae Youl Kim, the ISU is focused on comprehensive evolution: sustainability, inclusion, empowering skaters, and global expansion — laying the foundation for a stronger future aligned with new generations.
