Australian sprinter Oshay Gout Gout has captured the attention of social media and the sporting world after his eye-catching performances at an athletics competition in Brisbane, Australia, in November. Gout Gout, just 16 years old, clocked 20.60 seconds in the 200m dash, setting the Australian Under-20 record. This is the fastest time recorded by an Australian since 1993.

A month after his race, the video of his run has millions of views on social media and comparisons to Usain Bolt have begun. His fluid style, along with his celebration at the finish line, was reminiscent of the Jamaican legend’s trademark charisma and confidence.
