After incredible victories in British championships, 17 year old runner Phoebe Gill earned her place to compete in the 800m, representing her country for the first time at the Olympics.
Japan aims at table tennis and street skateboarding:
Harimoto Miwa will compete in her first Olympics at 15 years old, having excelled in table tennis and ranking 16th in the world. Miwa will join her brother, Tomokazu, who won the bronze medal in the same discipline at Tokyo 2020. Japan has shown great talent in street skateboarding, with 14 year old Yashizawa Coco qualification being a big surprise. Coco finished third in the Shanghai qualifiers and emerged victorious in the Budapest stage, topping the world rankings and securing one of the three female spots for her country in Paris 2024.

Swimmer Summer McIntosh made her Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020 and now, at 17 years old, with the world record in the 400m individual medley and the canadian record in the 200m butterfly, she will attend her second Olympics as one of Canada’s most successful swimmers. Quan Hongchan is ready for her second Olympic Games and to defend her gold in platform diving. At 17, Quan arrives at Paris 2024 as the 2024 world champion in swimming.
