Shock at the Triathlon World Championship: two athletes die during the competition

With deep sadness, the triathlon world has received the devastating news of the death of two athletes during the first day of the Triathlon World Championship in Torremolinos, Málaga. The two men deceased, from Mexico and the United Kingdom, were competing in the age-group category when the tragic incidents occurred. One of the athletes suffered the mishap during the swimming event, while the other passed away during the running segment. These events have cast a shadow of mourning over the entire sports community, which is still coming to terms with the terrible loss of two people passionate about this sport.
