With the end of the Budapest Olympic Qualification Series – won by Australians Arisa Trew (women’s team) and Keegan Palmer (men’s) – the 88 skaters who will compete in the Paris 2024 have already been confirmed. Olympic Games, four have been reserved for the host country and another four for Universality Places which will be designated by the Tripartite Commission of the International Olympic Committee.

The remaining 80 places have been assigned according to the results prior to the Olympics such as World Championship, Qualification Series, Pro Tour, 5-star Events and 3-star Events. Additionally, the athlete must appear in the World Olympic Skateboarding Ranking as of June 24, 2024.

Each National Olympic Committee (NOC) has exclusive authority over the representation of their respective countries, so the participation of each athlete depends on the selection of their Committee. Each NOC may have a maximum of 12 athletes, three men and three women for each event.

This will be the second participation of this urban sport in the Olympic event, and in Paris 2024, the women’s and men’s park and street competitions are back on the schedule.

On June 29, the NOCs will confirm their representatives to World Skate, the entity that will complete the reallocation of unused places on July 7. The deadline for sports registrations in Paris will be July 8.

Skateboarding will take place from July 26 to August 11 in the Place de la Concorde, in the heart of the French capital.
