The Mutua Madrid Open 2024 has been a true celebration of tennis and Spanish culture during these 15 days. Beyond the exciting action on the courts, the tournament has witnessed the presence of numerous celebrities who have enjoyed the spectacle.

Sports figures such as Atlético de Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak, Real Madrid footballer Vinicius Jr. and Spanish tennis player Garbiñe Muguruza have been seen enjoying the matches at the Caja Mágica. In addition, artists such as Sebastian Yatra and Ana Mena have also made an appearance, demonstrating the attraction that this event generates beyond the sporting field.

But the Mutua Madrid Open 2024 has not only been a magnet for stars. The fans have also been protagonists, such as the ball kids who have had the opportunity to play tennis with the Norwegian Casper Ruud and share churros with the veteran and current director of the tournament, Feliciano López. These gestures have brought the tournament even closer to the public, creating memorable moments.

Another of the notable events has been the celebration of the Mutua Madrid Open U16, where the young talents Julia Giaccio and Eduald Gonzalez Ollich have been crowned champions. This type of initiative demonstrates the tournament’s commitment to the development of grassroots tennis and the Spanish youth system.

There was even a boxing exhibition starring the fighter Ilia Topuria, who faced the young phenomenon Carlos Alcaraz in an improvised ring on one of the outdoor courts. These types of complementary activities have further enriched the experience of the attendees.
