Volleyball World has confirmed the four official venues that will host matches during the 2025 FIVB Women’s Volleyball World Championship, set to take place in Thailand from August 22 to September 7, 2025. This tournament, the first in history to be held in Southeast Asia, will bring world-class volleyball to the cities of Bangkok, Nakhon Ratchasima, Chiang Mai, and Phuket.

In Bangkok, Thailand’s capital, matches will be played at the Huamark Indoor Stadium, a venue with a capacity of over 6,000 spectators and extensive experience hosting international competitions. This stadium has hosted prominent events such as the 2024 Women’s Volleyball Nations League (VNL) Finals.

Nakhon Ratchasima, known as a traditional volleyball hub, will host matches at Chatchai Hall. This venue is renowned for its passionate fanbase and its history of organizing high-level events, including VNL tournaments and the Asian Championship.

New Opportunities for Chiang Mai and Phuket

In Chiang Mai, the World Championship will debut at the Chiang Mai International Exhibition and Convention Centre, a modern complex and one of the largest venues in northern Thailand. While this will be the first time the city hosts this international competition, it has prior experience with events such as the Southeast Asia Volleyball League and the 2023 Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Challenge.

Phuket will complete the lineup of host cities, with matches taking place at the Saphan Hin Municipal Sports Complex. Known for its tradition in beach volleyball, the city hosted the FIVB U19 and U21 World Championships in 2021, solidifying its reputation as an international sports destination.
