The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), known as TAS in French, is preparing to open two temporary offices in Paris for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The first, the CAS Ad Hoc Division, will resolve any legal disputes arising during the Games. This Ad Hoc Division has been in operation at every edition of the Summer and Winter Olympic Games since 1996, as well as other major sporting events. It will ensure free access to high-quality dispute resolution services, conducted within timelines compatible with the competition schedule, as it can issue decisions within 24 hours in urgent cases.

The second temporary office is for the CAS Anti-Doping Division, which will handle doping-related disputes arising during the Games. This Anti-Doping Division, operational since the 2016 Rio Olympics, will address any doping cases referred by the International Testing Authority (ITA), in accordance with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Anti-Doping Rules.

Both offices will be located at the Paris tribunal in the XVII district of Paris and will be operational from July 16 to August 11, 2024. CAS wishes to express its gratitude to the Paris Judicial Court and the Paris 2024 Organizing Committee for their assistance in providing these facilities for CAS activities.
