This week, the International Judo Federation (IJF) and Double D Adidas Combat Sports formalized a new four-year partnership agreement, which will cover the period from 2025 to 2028. The signing ceremony took place at the IJF headquarters in Budapest, Hungary, in the presence of IJF President Marius Vizer and Double D Adidas Combat Sports President Cédric Dermée.
Double D, a French company founded in 1994, has been a global licensee of Adidas Combat Sports since 2005, and has earned a solid reputation in the sports industry.
A PARTNERSHIP TO BOOST JUDO
During the ceremony, Marius Vizer expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership: “We are happy to sign this four-year agreement with Double D Adidas Combat Sports, a company that has a worldwide reputation in the sports industry. With this partnership, judo will continue the development path started years ago to reach new levels of excellence.”
For his part, Cédric Dermée emphasized his optimism about the partnership: “After years of successful collaboration with the IJF, I am happy to sign this contract and begin a new phase of cooperation as a special partner of the IJF. We are confident that this new partnership marks a significant milestone and we are ready to collaborate with all members of the judo family.”
This agreement reinforces the commitment of both organizations to further develop and promote judo globally.
