The international curling season has complete the first two championships. The Pan Continental Curling Championships 2024 concluded in Lacombe, Canada on Saturday 2 November, with China men and Canada women bringing home the gold medals and from 12-19 October, 39 international teams came together for the World Mixed Curling Championship in Aberdeen, Scotland where Sweden defended their World Mixed title.
Next up are the World Wheelchair-B Curling Championship 2024 and the Le Gruyère AOP European Curling Championships 2024, both in Lohja, Finland. They will take place between 3-8 November and 16-23 November respectively.
OTHER CURLING IMPROVEMENTS
Two more trainees joined the World Curling Media team during the Pan Continental Curling Championships 2024 to gain first-hand experience in sports photography and content creation.
And the World Curling Academy has also had a busy month, hosting both Umpire courses in Korea and Ice Technicians in Manitoba, Canada.
