The progress of the next Central American and Caribbean Games

The Executive Committee of Centro Caribe Sports met this Wednesday with representatives of the organizing committees of the next two major events that Central America and the Caribbean will have. At the meeting, held virtually, progress was presented for the competitions that will be held in the next two years.

Present at the meeting were Luis Oviedo Mejía, president of Centro Caribe Sports; Keith Joseph, president of the Caribbean Association of National Olympic Committees (CANCO); Steve Stout, honorary president of Centro Caribe Sports, among other actors involved.

Regarding the reports about the Central American and Caribbean Beach Games Puntarenas 2025, the president of the Costa Rican Olympic Committee, Alexander Zamora, said that his teams will also be part of the organizing committee. In addition, they presented possible dates for the beach sports of the event.

In this sense, the latest activities of the organizing committee were presented regarding the Central American and Caribbean Games in Santo Domingo 2026, such as the presentation of the official logo and that the date to be held for the Games will be from July 24 to August 8, 2026.
