Olympic basketball qualification is not yet closed for Paris 2024. From July 2 to 7, the pre-Olympics will be played in search of the last four countries that will be in the appointment of the rings and thus complete a table of 12 teams in the dispute for the medals.
It is not easy to qualify for the next Olympic Games. It will be a competition with 24 countries divided into four qualifiers, from where only the champion of each one will get the ticket to Paris.
Spain, Greece, Latvia and Puerto Rico will be the venues for the pre-Olympics. In each location there will be six teams, which in turn will be divided into two groups. The competition format is round-robin in the group stage, with the top two in each standings advancing to the semifinals. Then comes the final and the champion will qualify.
