It took five years for people to think about resuming the traditional Roller Hockey Nations Cup. The tournament that had to pause its editions in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic returns to action in the year in which World Skate, the organization that leads skate sports worldwide, celebrates 100 years of life.

In Montreux, Switzerland, on the edge of Lake Geneva, the 69th version of the Nations Cup will take place, a tournament born in 1921 and which has Portugal with 19 titles as its top champion, followed by Spain, with 17.

The 2024 edition will celebrate the centenary of World Skate. There will be five days of competition -from March 27 to 31-. In group A are Argentina, Italy, Angola and the local team from Montreux. For its part, group B is made up of Portugal, France, Spain and Switzerland. The best two in each group will advance to the semifinals, while the rest must compete for fifth to eighth place in the competition.
