On August 28, the Paralympic Games will begin, which will be held in Paris for the first time. Of the last Olympic Games that ended a few days ago, there will be 18 of the 35 venues that will be repeated for the event that will be held until September 8 with the best athletes in the world.

The South Paris Arena will be the venue that will receive the most sports with three disciplines in door. Boccias, goalball for the blind and table tennis will take place in this events center built in 1923.

For its part, the Champ de Mars Arena will host wheelchair rugby and para judo; the Grand Palais will have para taekwondo and wheelchair fencing; Para badminton and para powerlifting will be held at the Porte de La Chapelle Arena; while in the waters of the Vaires-sur-Marne nautical stadium there will be canoeing and rowing.

One of the scenarios that captured the most attention during the Olympic Games was beach volleyball with the background of the Eiffel Tower accompanying each match. In the case of the Paralympic Games, blind football will use of the facilities, animating one of the most beautiful postcards that Paris 2024 has left.

The rest of the venues will have only one sport on the program. The Bercy Arena will have wheelchair basketball, the Chateau de Versailles will have horse riding, the Chateauroux Shooting Center will host para shooting, Clichy-sous-Bois will have para cycling, Invalides will host para archery and La Courneurve will experience para marathon.

Sitting volleyball will be played at the North Paris Arena, para swimming will be again at the Paris La Defense Arena, para triathlon will be at Pont Alexandre III and track para cycling will be held at the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines Velodrome.

The last two venues are two traditional venues for French sports. The para tennis players will have the honor of competing for the medals in the traditional Stade Roland Garros, while the para athletics will take place in the Stade de France, the most emblematic French stadium.
