USA Swimming has been honored with the prestigious Fan Engagement Award – Governing Body at the International Sports Awards, organized by the International Sports Convention. This recognition highlights the organization’s outstanding efforts during the USA Swimming 2024 Olympic Team Trials, presented by Lilly and held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
The event marked a historic milestone as the first time the Trials were held in an NFL stadium, transforming Lucas Oil Stadium into a world-class aquatic facility. During the nine days of competition, the event attracted 285,000 fans, setting a record with 22,209 attendees in a single session. With cutting-edge technology such as a 70-foot digital screen to showcase the athletes, immersive hospitality experiences and citywide celebrations, USA Swimming delivered an unforgettable spectacle that elevated the visibility of the sport.

The International Sports Awards recognize achievements in the sports industry globally. USA Swimming will officially receive the award during the International Sports Convention 2025, which will be held in London on March 19-20.
