Teqball continues its growth, showing itself as an innovative sport and an eye-catching spectacle for fans around the world. So much so that the 2024 season of this discipline is about to begin, which brings together the difficulty of table tennis, the skill of soccer and the skill of magicians with the ball.
“It was incredible to see how everyone showed interest in the important Teqball matches, their results and the players last year,” said Gabor Borsanyi, president of the International Teqball Federation (FITEQ). “There is no doubt that we want to break records again this year,” he added.
The 2023 season was, according to FITEQ, a success from the reception of the people to the spectacle. The culminating moment was the closing of the World Championships with a record number of participants, press, public and even the presence of Ronaldinho as ambassador.
A calendar full of events is also coming for 2024. On April 5 it all begins in Wavre, Belgium with the Belgian International Teqball Open.
