The Champions League, Europa League and Conference League have already started, although the big European leagues have only just started, the knockout rounds of the biggest European club competitions have already started a few weeks ago.

In the Champions League, the qualifying rounds have been going on for a few weeks now and the teams have already had to play some matches. Specifically this week, matchday seven has been played, the first leg of the final matchday, which will decide the qualifiers for the Champions League groups. Teams such as Dinamo Zagreb, Lille and Salzburg have won their matches and next week they can seal their place in the group stage of Europe’s biggest club competition.

In the Europa League, the same is true of the first legs of the final play-offs this week, with teams like Maccabi Tel Aviv, Ajax and Viktoria Plzen all within touching distance of reaching the Europa League’s group stage.

Like all these teams, Victoria de Guimaraes, Legia Warsaw, FC Copenhagen, Fiorentina, Betis or Chelsea are all looking to get into the draw for the third European competition, the Conference League.

Very soon in the stadiums of Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Manchester City, Bayern Munich and many more teams the Champions League anthem will be played but the competition started a few weeks ago and many teams can already say that this season they have played in the Champions League.
