The Bulgarian Federation and CESav International Savate Training Camp concluded in Kranevo after a week of training, education and international exchange, bringing together athletes, coaches and officials from 11 countries.
Held from 16 to 23 August 2026 on Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast, the camp welcomed participants from Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Italy, France, Cameroon, Ukraine, Japan, Belgium, the United Kingdom and Switzerland.
The event marked the 20th year that the Bulgarian Federation has organised the international camp, providing a diverse training environment for participants with different backgrounds and levels of experience.
Technical sessions were led by Wendy Faure of France, giving athletes and coaches the opportunity to train together, develop their technical skills and exchange knowledge and experience.
International Savate Training Camp
Referee and judge education was also a key part of the programme. Participants continued their preparation under the guidance of Salvatore Valeri of Italy, Head of the CESav Refereeing Sector, through a combination of theoretical sessions, discussions and practical work as they progressed towards the examination process.
Organisers described this year’s edition as one of the most special in the camp’s 20-year history, highlighting the quality of the training, the people involved and the positive atmosphere throughout the week.
Beyond the training sessions, the camp created opportunities for athletes and coaches from different countries to work together, share approaches and experience, and strengthen international connections through Savate.
FISav congratulated the Bulgarian Savate community and CESav on another successful edition of the International Summer Camp.
