Ub (Serbia) defeated Raudondvaris Hoptrans (Lithuania) 20-16 over the weekend in Manama (Bahrain), closing a season defined by consistent performances and seven titles — the highest tally in the FIBA 3×3 World Tour 2025, organised by the International Basketball Federation -FIBA-. The Serbian side strengthened its position at the top of the sport with seven trophies collected across the calendar.

The event held in Manama marked the conclusion of a schedule that once again brought together the highest-ranked teams in the professional standings, a core element of the 3×3 competition system. This structure shapes international classification, access to host venues and the allocation of ranking points for national federations.

A final embedded in the strategic framework of global 3×3

The season-ending final in Bahrain’s capital forms part of the circuit’s institutional framework, serving as the event that consolidates results from all stops throughout the year. Its role is essential for determining the official season close, the distribution of ranking points and the updated hierarchy of teams within the FIBA ecosystem.

Ub’s performance throughout the campaign was particularly relevant from a governance perspective: seven victories across the season’s events, plus the title in Manama, reinforced its status as a reference point in the professional 3×3 landscape. The team also competed in a season marked by the addition of new host cities and increased participation from emerging teams, aligning with FIBA’s strategic objective of expanding the discipline globally.

Raudondvaris Hoptrans and the strengthening of Europe’s competitive core

Raudondvaris Hoptrans, runners-up in Manama, completed a season with 15 wins in 30 games according to data from the International Basketball Federation -FIBA-. Their progression is viewed as one of the indicators of the growing competitive level within Europe, where several federations have reinforced their structures to support long-term development of 3×3 within their national programmes.

The Lithuanian team’s rise also reflects the broader expansion of the calendar, which this year added more stops across Asia and the Middle East. Bahrain’s role as the season-ending host aligns with FIBA’s strategy to diversify event locations and establish new regional hubs within the global 3×3 framework.

A favourable scenario for competitive planning

In the final, Ub once again relied on a structure built around consistency, ball circulation and defensive stability — elements that have defined their approach throughout the season. The team raised its level during decisive moments, reinforcing its position at the top of the rankings and its influence as a model for high-performance planning in professional 3×3.

Individual recognition went to Strahinja Stojacic, who recorded 36 points and a player value score of 46.8 to earn tournament MVP honours, after also being named regular season MVP. In the individual contests, Jonas Foerts won the shoot-out contest presented by GFH, while Joel ‘The Royal Guard’ Henry claimed the dunk contest presented by Bahrain Tourism.

Ub closed the year as number one in the circuit for the third time in the past four seasons, while Manama strengthened its status as a key venue in the international development of 3×3 thanks to its organisational capacity and growing role within the professional calendar.
