The Anti-Doping Division of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) confirms the suspension of two athletes who were previously disqualified for anti-doping rule violations before Paris 2024 Olympics.

They are Iraqi judoka Sajjad Ghanim Sehen, who had an adverse analytical finding for anabolic androgenic steroids during a test outside the Olympic Games.

Also Nigerian boxer Cyntia Temitayo Ogunsemilore who ‘has returned an adverse analytical finding for the specified prohibited substance, furosemide’.

The two athletes had requested an interim hearing but on 28 July the CAS dealt with the two Olympic cases in Paris and upheld the provisional suspensions of the two athletes.

Sehen was to compete in the men’s 81kg category. Ogunsemilore was registered to compete in the women’s -60kg category.
