KIF (Kudo International Federation) has been working to join TAFISA (The Association For International Sport for All), and its membership has been preliminarily approved. This is a significant milestone on the road to promoting sport for all, a central goal of both organizations.

TAFISA is an international sports organization created with the aim of improving the quality of life of people around the world through the promotion of health and fitness by promoting the idea of “sport for all.” Currently, sport promotion organizations from more than 100 countries are registered as members of TAFISA, underscoring its global reach and commitment.
KIF’s membership, under the category of International Member, was preliminarily approved by TAFISA’s Board of Directors at its meeting in early August. Although official approval will take place during the 29th General Assembly of the TAFISA World Congress, KIF is already listed as a member on TAFISA’s official website and has been allowed to use the organization’s logo under certain rules.
INCLUSIVE SPORT IS KEY
The process of integrating KIF into TAFISA has been an important part of its commitment to promoting inclusive sport. KIF participated in the 28th TAFISA World Congress held in Düsseldorf, Germany, in November last year. As part of its efforts, KIF established the Kudo for All Committee, a specialized committee focused on inclusion and accessibility in sport.
This committee has created three subcommittees with the following focuses:
A subcommittee dedicated to youth activities.
A subcommittee focused on gender equality.
A subcommittee aimed at promoting the inclusion of people with disabilities.
On April 22, KIF published this information in the news section of its official website, where the activities of the Youth Committee in Europe were also presented. This partnership with TAFISA will further strengthen KIF’s efforts to promote inclusive and accessible sports practice across all ages and abilities.
The final approval of KIF’s membership at TAFISA’s General Assembly Congress will mark a crucial step in the collaboration between the two organizations, highlighting the shared commitment to improving quality of life through sport.
