The organizing committee for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games has announced that NFL Los Angeles at Hollywood Park, the NFL’s West Coast headquarters, will serve as the Main Press Center (MPC) for the event. This space will serve as the nerve center for thousands of accredited media professionals covering the global sporting event.

Located in Inglewood, one of the official host cities of the Games, the MPC will offer strategic advantages that will optimize media operations and international coverage of the event.

Functions and meeting point

The MPC will not only be a workspace for the media, but will also facilitate direct interaction between organizers, journalists, and athletes. In addition, it will serve as a logistics center for press operations, managing essential services such as accreditation, transportation, and technical support.

The location of the MPC at Hollywood Park has been strategically selected to maximize operational efficiency, as it will be close to the International Broadcast Center (IBC), which will be located at Hollywood Park Studios, a state-of-the-art film production complex.

The space occupied by the MPC at Hollywood Park will continue to be reused after the Games by the NFL, in line with LA28’s commitment not to build new permanent sports facilities. This reuse model makes Los Angeles 2028 the first Games in 80 years to exclusively leverage existing infrastructure.
