The International Committee of the Mediterranean Games –ICMG– and Saran Media Group have announced a long-term agreement that makes the company host broadcaster and principal commercial partner of the Mediterranean Games and the Mediterranean Beach Games through 2034.
It is a multi-year agreement that brings both organisations together under a shared vision to raise the profile, presentation and global reach of Mediterranean sport, through a collaboration focused on innovation, audiovisual storytelling and the creation of sustainable value for the competitions, their athletes, host cities and international audiences.
A long-term broadcast model
For the ICMG, this agreement responds to a decision aligned with its mission to promote sport and Olympism, as well as the ideals and values they represent in the countries of the Mediterranean basin.
Through this collaboration, the organisation aims to improve the overall quality, visual identity and international visibility of both the Mediterranean Games and the Mediterranean Beach Games, while strengthening their appeal to athletes, host cities, commercial partners and broadcasters.
Comprehensive coverage of all competitions
Under the agreement, Saran Media Group will assume full responsibility as host broadcaster, providing live coverage on television, radio and digital platforms of all sports included in the programme, as well as the opening and closing ceremonies.
In addition to audiovisual production, the company will play a key role in the development of a coherent and future-oriented broadcast and production model, through the incorporation of state-of-the-art technologies and a unified editorial approach in line with the highest international standards.
The agreement also seeks to reinforce the operational certainty of future editions of the Games through the establishment of a single long-term broadcast partner, with the aim of reducing risks associated with last-minute preparations, cost increases or fragmentation of production responsibilities.
