AECOM, a global leader in infrastructure, has been named the Official Venue Infrastructure Partner for the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games and Team USA, the company announced March 14, 2025. With an unprecedented scope, AECOM will provide architecture, engineering, planning, program management and construction management for the Games’ venue infrastructure program, which will include more than 50 Olympic and Paralympic sports, 800 events and the participation of more than 15,000 athletes.

AECOM has a proven track record in delivering infrastructure for global sporting events, having contributed to the success of the London 2012, Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2021 Olympic Games. In collaboration with LA28 and other key stakeholders, AECOM will help implement a unique and innovative infrastructure program that will rely on temporary venues and temporary adaptations to existing permanent venues, enhancing the athlete and spectator experience and facilitating the smooth execution of the Games.

As a large-scale program integrator, AECOM will apply its expertise to support the delivery of temporary infrastructure at Games venues. Its role includes the architecture and engineering required for LA28 venues, as well as program management for implementation. In addition, its AECOM Hunt division will oversee the procurement process, cost estimating, scheduling and construction management of the required infrastructure.
