The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) has confirmed that the Sepulveda Basin Recreation Area will be the official 3×3 basketball venue for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games. This urban park, the second largest in Los Angeles, will host the world’s best 3×3 players in the heart of the city.
A unique setting for 3×3 basketball
The Sepulveda Basin Recreation Area, known for its beautiful parks and sports facilities, will be transformed into an urban sports park for the Olympic Games. In addition to 3×3 basketball, the venue will host other urban disciplines such as BMX freestyle, BMX racing and skateboarding, replicating the success of these sports at previous Olympic Games.
